A registered nurse licensed in the states of New York and New Jersey, Leslie Troper is a Legal Nurse Consultant with Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks & Zarin. She brings more than 20 years of medical experience to the firm with specialized knowledge as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Additionally, she has extensive knowledge pertaining to Neurology, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, and Surgery. Her caring, patient-centered approach allows her to mine the relevant facts of a client's medical malpractice case, objectively analyze the situation and assess whether there was deviation from accepted standards of medical care. Equipped with a comprehensive understanding of medical language and terminology, practices, and procedures, Ms. Troper is a valuable asset to the clients of the firm, as she skillfully discusses the medical issues with clients, using language that can be more readily understood.

Ms. Troper received her Bachelor of Science from SUNY at Downstate Medical Center College of Nursing and received her Master of Science in Perinatal Nursing from Adelphi University, where she later served as an adjunct clinical instructor in Obstetrical Nursing. In addition to many years of clinical nursing experience, she also has many years of medical office management experience.
