LISA E. LOMELO, Esq., LEED AP, focuses her practice on land use and development and commercial litigation. Ms. Lomelo is an experienced litigator having handled matters in the areas of construction defect, professional liability, product liability and elevator negligence.
She received her Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University in Biochemical Engineering in 2000 and her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University in 2003. From 2003-2004, she served as a law clerk to The Honorable Camille M. Kenny, Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division. Ms. Lomelo is admitted to the bars of the State of New Jersey, District of New Jersey and the State of New York.
Ms. Lomelo became a LEED Accredited Professional in 2008. She was the first female attorney and fourth attorney overall in the State of New Jersey to receive this accreditation.
In addition, Ms. Lomelo was named one of New Jersey’s “New Leaders of the Bar” (formerly 40 Under 40) by the New Jersey Law Journal in 2018. She has also been listed in Super Lawyers® Rising Stars (2010-2018), a Thomson Reuters business, in the areas of Civil Litigation: Defense, General Litigation, and Construction Litigation: Business.
Ms. Lomelo is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, New Jersey Women Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association, and has been involved with various women’s initiative programs and mentoring programs. She has presented various seminars on New Jersey Civil Litigation Practice.
