Steven J. Rogers, Jr.
Associate Attorney

Steven J. Rogers, Jr. takes great pride in exclusively representing those harmed by the negligent and intentional acts of others. Steve’s practice focuses on all manner of personal injuries, including car crashes, fall-down injuries, severe burns, dog bites, dram shop liability, defective products, sexual assault, wrongful death, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, and other complex civil matters. Steve is also substantially involved in class action and mass tort lawsuits on behalf of the people, such as consumer fraud, FLSA violations, and drinking water contamination. Steve strives to make the protections of law accessible to all.
A graduate of Rutgers Law School’s Camden campus, Steve received the Dean’s Pro Bono Publico Award, which was then the highest student award for providing legal services to the public. Steve was a member of the Rutgers Law School Mock Trial Team, first as a competitor and then as a mentor to new students. Steve also worked as a legal research assistant to Professor J.C. Lore, III, the law school’s Director of Trial Advocacy. While in law school, Steve enjoyed the privilege of interning for Chief Judge Jerome B. Simandle of the U.S. District Court of New Jersey. Steve further interned with the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, advocating in open court on behalf of victims of domestic violence.
After graduating, Steve served as the first judicial law clerk to the Honorable Thomas J. Buck in the Middlesex County Superior Court’s Civil Division. Like many other law clerks, Steve was certified as a mediator in the Special Civil Part, resolving landlord tenant disputes and small claims. While clerking, Steve co-presented a Continuing Legal Education course with the Middlesex County Bar Association titled “The Do’s and Don’ts of Civil Motion Practice”.
Following his clerkship, Steve worked with a prominent Middlesex County firm that exclusively represents the injured. Steve then joined the Monmouth County office of another well-respected firm, continuing to safeguard the rights of the people. With extensive experience throughout the State of New Jersey, Steve has returned to Camden County and joins the firm’s Voorhees office in fighting for those harmed by the negligent or intentional acts of others.
