Brian N. Biglin
Of Counsel

Brian N. Biglin represents clients in an array of criminal and civil matters. He brings strong analytical skills and courtroom instincts to his cases. After serving as judicial law clerk to a highly respected federal judge, where he assisted on diverse trials and proceedings, Mr. Biglin honed his skills at the Newark office of an international law firm. He has helped plaintiffs and defendants, and those standing accused or as victims, through complex investigations and proceedings.
Mr. Biglin appears in state and federal court, and has also worked creatively to avoid his clients being charged in the first place. In addition, he often handles post-conviction matters, with knowledge of New Jersey’s expungement regime, parole revocation proceedings, and the civil rights of detained and imprisoned persons. Mr. Biglin is a member of the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers – New Jersey.
Outside of the office and courtroom, Mr. Biglin is highly engaged in the legal and wider community. He is a longtime leader and former President of the Rutgers Law School-Newark Alumni Association, spearheading key fundraising efforts benefitting law students, mentoring up-and-coming lawyers, and fostering diversity in the profession. Mr. Biglin actively engages with Volunteer Lawyers for Justice as a pro bono attorney and member of Board committees. In his local community, Mr. Biglin is an organizing member of the Friends of Grove Park in South Orange, and a member and subcommittee volunteer for the Montrose Park Historic District Association. An avid gardener, Mr. Biglin is a proud member of The Native Plant Society of New Jersey – Essex Chapter. You will also find Mr. Biglin following baseball, coaching his children, and collecting baseball cards.
