John M. Piro
John M. Piro has represented clients in civil litigation matters since being admitted to the New York Bar (2001) and the New Jersey Bar (2002) in the areas of personal injury, automotive negligence and premises liability. He also has some prior experience in handling matters involving Medical Malpractice and Hospital Negligence. Additionally, he has represented clients in Municipal, Criminal, Family and Surrogate Court.
John also has prior experience in conducting insurance fraud investigations and was a prominent member of the Special Investigations Unit for a major insurance company.
John earned his J.D. Degree from Fordham University – School of Law. While in Law School, he was an Associate Editor of the Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal and also served as a Mediator in Small Claims Court in Fordham’s Mediation Clinic.
John earned his B.A. degree (Cum Laude) from Fordham University – Fordham College where he also completed an internship with The Honorable John A.K. Bradley in the New York State Supreme Court.
Throughout his years of practice, John has vigorously represented his clients interests with dedication and determination to yield the best results to their satisfaction. He now continues this tradition at Javerbaum Wurgaft.
