Laura McKay Nejes
Partner
Laura McKay Nejes concentrates her practice in estate planning and estate administration. She counsels clients on the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives. She brings experience in estate and trust litigation and complex commercial litigation to this role. Drawing on this combined experience, she works with clients to tailor estate plans to reflect their personal, financial, and familial goals.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Nejes served as Staff Attorney for the Office of the Union County Surrogate, advising on matters in the Superior Court, Probate Part. She is a former judicial law clerk to the Honorable Frederick C. Kentz, Jr., Chancery Division, General Equity Part, Union Vicinage.
Ms. Nejes earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law where she served as Notes Editor for the Seton Hall Legislative Journal. She holds a B.A. in Economics and English from Bucknell University.
Ms. Nejes is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, including the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section and the Essex County Bar Association.
