Lisa Bowles

Lisa Bowles has been certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney. She has a long and distinguished legal career. She began her legal career as a paralegal and working mother. After having 3 children, she attended college and law school. Ms. Bowles knows how to multi-task, prioritize and get things done under the most difficult of circumstances. From the moment she began practicing law, she has been a trial attorney fighting for the rights of her clients. Ms. Bowles has worked for both plaintiffs and defendants and therefore has a unique perspective and practical skill set. She prides herself on being a true problem solver.
Ms. Bowles is a seasoned and successful trial attorney. In 2010, a jury awarded her clients a verdict in excess of $100,000,000, which is one the largest verdicts in the history of the State of New Jersey. More recently, in 2018, Ms. Bowles received a verdict in the amount of $2,175,000 in a motor vehicle accident case, which was one of the Top 10 Verdicts in New Jersey for 2018.
Ms. Bowles has been awarded many honors, including “Super Lawyers Rising Star,” “Best in South Jersey” as voted by her Peers, “Top Attorney”, Pro Bono Roll of Honor, and she was the first New Jersey litigator to receive the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers, James J. Manderino Award for Trial Advocacy.
While in law school, Ms. Bowles continued working as a paralegal and also completed an externship with the Honorable Theodore A. McKee, U.S.C.J., U.S. Court of Appeals for The Third Circuit where she helped author several Opinions.
Ms. Bowles is also a member of the New Jersey Association for Justice, and has co-chaired multiple programs, including topics on Business Torts and Women Litigators. She also continues to lecture at continuing legal educations events. Past lectures include legal ethics, business torts, arbitration provisions, employment law. She has also participated in legal education panel discussions on business torts and participated in employment discrimination mock trials.
