Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks Kahn Wikstrom & Sinins, PC, is pleased to announce the addition of Brian N. Biglin as Counsel in its Springfield, New Jersey office.
Mr. Biglin represents clients in an array of criminal and civil matters. He brings strong analytical skills and courtroom instincts to his cases. After serving as judicial law clerk to a highly respected federal judge, where he assisted on diverse trials and proceedings, Mr. Biglin honed his skills at the Newark office of an international law firm. He has helped plaintiffs and defendants, and those standing accused or as victims, through complex investigations and proceedings.
He appears in state and federal court, and has also worked creatively to avoid his clients being charged in the first place. In addition, he often handles post-conviction matters, with knowledge of New Jersey’s expungement regime, parole revocation proceedings, and the civil rights of detained and imprisoned persons. Mr. Biglin is a member of the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers – New Jersey.
Mr. Biglin is a former President of the Rutgers Law School-Newark Alumni Association, spearheading key fundraising efforts benefitting law students, mentoring up-and-coming lawyers, and fostering diversity in the profession. Mr. Biglin actively engages with Volunteer Lawyers for Justice as a pro bono attorney and member of Board committees.
He received his A.B. in Economics from the University of Michigan and his JD from Rutgers Law School – Newark. He is admitted to both the New Jersey and New York bars.
