June 11, 2020, Springfield, NJ – Rubin M. Sinins, Esq., Partner in Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks Kahn Wikstrom & Sinins, PC, has been appointed to the Essex County Correctional Facility Civilian Task Force by Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr., and the Essex County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
The task force will provide oversight of the county correctional facility, ensuring that all individuals, including those currently incarcerated, receive fair and equal treatment under the law. The task force will also provide a safe and secure atmosphere for inmates, detainees, Corrections Officers and staff.
“I am honored to have been selected to serve on this important task force to help protect the lives, health, safety and rights of all people confined at the ECCF,” states Sinins.
Sinins is filling the seat designated for a member in good standing of the New Jersey Criminal Defense Bar.
He is Past President of the Essex County Bar Association, and is a member and Past Chair of the Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee for the Essex County Bar Association. He previously served as Chair of the District V-B Ethics Committee.
Sinins earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from the George Washington University National Law Center, where he was a Notes Editor of the George Washington Law Review.
