Isabella Smith
Associate Attorney
Isabella M. Smith is an associate attorney focusing her practice on medical malpractice litigation. Ms. Smith has a strong understanding of diverse litigation processes, allowing her to serve as a thoughtful advocate for clients and pursue favorable outcomes. Ms. Smith is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and is pending admission to the State of New York.
Ms. Smith earned her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2024, where she participated in the Leadership Fellows Program and was recognized for her commitment to service, graduating with a Pro Bono Service Program Distinction. During her time in law school, she served as President of both the St. Thomas More Society and the Rodino Society. Ms. Smith also served as a research assistant, working in support of improving landlord-tenant systems and eviction procedures.
While in law school, she completed multiple externships, internships, and summer associateships, which included work at local firms, the Waterfront Commission of New York Harbor, the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office-New Jersey Transit Section, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. All these experiences enhanced her knowledge of the legal system and procedures in various venues.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Smith worked as an Associate at a litigation boutique firm handling complex business and litigation matters. Before beginning practice, she clerked for the Hon. Jeffrey R. Jablonski, J.A.D., who served in both the New Jersey Appellate Division, where she researched intricate legal issues and prepared detailed memoranda providing recommendations to a multi-judge panel, and as the Assignment Judge in the Hudson County Superior Court, where Ms. Smith mediated in small claims court and handled various civil, chancery, and criminal court proceedings.
Ms. Smith began her legal career in 2018 as a legal assistant to a solo practitioner handling personal injury, workers’ compensation, real estate, wills and estates, municipal court, and landlord-tenant matters. She is an active member of the Hudson County Bar Association and serves as her high school’s alumnae Class Secretary and Class Agent.
Ms. Smith holds an Engineering degree and a Screenwriting minor from the University of Southern California. She is also a former competitive ice skater and instructor.

Ms. Smith currently serves as her Class Secretary and Class Agent for her high school, Kent Place School, and has previously served as a volunteer catechist for her local parish.
