Weintraub has been designated as the 2023 Chair for the UNCF (United Negro College Fund) New Jersey Walk for Education. The event is scheduled to start at 9 a.m., on November 11, 2023, at Liberty State Park, Jersey City, NJ.
The National UNCF Walk for Education is an initiative aimed at raising necessary funds to support the mission of UNCF. This mission includes supporting New Jersey students in pursuing their educational goals, preparing them for active societal participation, and assisting Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
Ms. Weintraub, an avid marathoner, ran at the event in support of UNCF as she prepares for her 62nd marathon in Philadelphia later this year. With a history of 61 marathons and numerous road races including half-marathons, 10Ks, and 5Ks to her credit, Ms. Weintraub is committed to rallying support for student scholarships on behalf of UNCF.
