David L. Wikstrom Sworn In As President of the Union County Bar Association

On December 5, 2014, David L. Wikstrom, was sworn in as the President of the Union County Bar Association at Brooklake CC, in Florham Park, NJ.  The UCBA has been serving the bench and bar of Union County for over 100 years.  Mr. Wikstrom, a partner at the law firm of Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks Kahn Wikstrom & Sinins, obtained his JD from Quinnipiac University in 1994,  cum laude and served on the Quinnipiac  Law Review.  At his installation on December 5, 2014, he recalled the excellent mentoring and guidance he received from his partners, Ken Javerbaum, Jack Wurgaft and Bob Hicks.  At his installation, he recalled how his partners taught him the value of  hard work and dedication to the law and to client’s needs. These lessons  stayed with David for the last 20 years.  Because of this dedication, he is frequently asked to lecture on legal malpractice and ethics.  He has presented programs throughout New Jersey and in several other countries. He concentrates his practice in litigating legal malpractice and large injury matters.  Mr. Wikstrom is a Certified Civil Trial Attorney.  He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocacy and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum*.  Mr. Wikstrom graduated William Paterson College which  recently established the David L. Wikstrom Scholarship which is awarded yearly to a student who shows interest in pursuing law and minority studies.
