Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks Kahn Wikstrom & Sinins, PC, is pleased to announce that Gabriela Sosa-Sanchez has joined the Firm as an Attorney in its Elmwood Park, NJ office.
Gabriela will concentrate their practice on medical malpractice and nursing home abuse matters. Gabriela developed a passion for medical malpractice after having volunteered as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) during the Pandemic.
Gabriela graduated Law School from Rutgers University – Camden and served as an SBA representative all three years, elected as University Senator in their third year. They were also a member of the Journal of Law and Religion for two years. Gabriela served as a student attorney in the Immigration Clinic and as treasurer of the Association for Public Interest Law.
After receiving their Juris Doctor from Rutgers, Gabriela clerked for the Honorable Richard Wischusen, J.S.C., of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Union County, Law Division, working in Criminal Part. During their time in Union County Gabriela also became a Certified Court Mediator, conducting mediations for small claims matters.
Gabriela received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and minor in Anthropology at Rutgers University – New Brunswick in 2019.
Gabriela is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
